Our stakeholders are empowered to progressively conquer all the socio-economic, technological challenges and to uphold echelon of citizenry.

IQAC works to establish collaborations with globally acclaimed organizations in the sphere of socio-economics. It plans to have events that facilitate intellectual transactions to proactively develop business leaders with contemporary skill-sets. IQAC works to elevate research quotient among the students by planning to organize conferences, seminars, research based extension services and academia-industry conclaves at the Institute. IQAC works to inculcating moral, ethical, social values and professional etiquettes through development of skill and value based courses in tis academic support program. IQAC works to enabling students to integrate technological know-how with social wellbeing through innovative practices like Clubs, knowledge resource centre, language labs and various Cells at the Institute which are student driven and faculty monitored.

IQAC at AIMS works on Governance which is based on participative, goal and value-oriented principles towards imparting and creating knowledge. The institute is governed by Anekant Education Society (AES), Baramati, and a religious minority institute. The proximity of the AES office in AES campus enables in smooth functioning of the institute and coordination between Management and the institute administration. The functioning of the institute is based on the broad plan devised by the Advisory Board, Governing Council and College Development Committee (CDC). The Advisory Board meeting takes place in a year and provides strategic advice to the Management to create an inclusive learning environment. The Governing Council meeting takes place twice in a year, where all monetary issues of the institute are discussed and taken. College Development Committee works under the guidelines provided and laid by the Governing Council. CDC comprising of Management, Director as Secretary and the Convener, IQAC Coordinator, Academic Coordinator, Faculty Representatives, Office Superintendent (OS), Librarian and Alumni Representative formulate and incorporate the action plans with strategic plans. Action plans are devised in the meetings and minutes of the same are drafted and then subsequently communicated to the concerned committees.

IQAC provides participatory system for the establishment and enhancement of quality measures. The Director is the Chairperson of IQAC who plays a vital and significant role in ensuring effective networking and interaction with all the stakeholders. IQAC at AIMS Baramati is committed to quality management education, enabling its students to occupy authority positions in different areas of work. It believes in moving towards excellence in quality of education by imparting knowledge which is relevant, keeping with the times and which is application oriented. With this view the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is constituted to design, review and advice on all matters relating to the contents and educational process, keeping the global perspective in view.

The sole purpose of IQAC is to provide a strategic foundation for the AIMS Academic Plan. The cell is intended to provide a sense of the overall strategic direction and a framework for the next five years that will enable the Institute to articulate the key academic priorities for the next few years and thereby moving towards excellence. IQAC provides participatory system for the establishment and enhancement of quality measures. Objective

1. Restructure, Review, and Monitor the educational process of the MBA programme
2. Ensure that the programme not only remains competitive and relevant in the present context but is also enhanced to address the emerging needs
3. Continuously minimize the gap between industry expectations and academia
4. Introducing innovative and creative ways in imparting knowledge and skill sets to promote academic excellence.
5. Create and Execute an Academic Support Program consisting of autonomous add-on courses which are powered with “skill based, leadership oriented and value driven content”.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. The IQAC thoroughly works on designing the educational process.
2. It continuously reviews and monitors the process, keeping in view the emerging needs and expectations of the industry.
3. The IQAC along with the strength of the faculty members continuously works on updating and restructuring the innovative skill sets for promoting academic excellence.

Assessment & Evaluation

1. IQAC maintains annual IQARs of each academic year and submit it to the accreditation agencies.
2. IQAC works on strategic partnerships to improve quality at AIMS through ISO Audit, Green Audit, NRF, NAAC, NBA etc.
3. The entire accreditation process is assessed timely to understand if it enables to meet the emerging standards. The Academic & Administrative process is thoroughly evaluated to minimize the gap between industry and academia and thereby move towards excellence.

Monitoring

Academic Excellence is an ongoing process. Hence, all the activities and processes are continuously monitored, so as to fulfill the objectives and achieve the mission of the Institute. The Assessment & the Evaluation process enables the strong monitoring of the entire educational process. The roles/duties of main stake holders such as Students, Alumni, Industry persons, trainers, renowned academicians, Social activists, Faculty and Institute Management are critical in developing the IQAC administrative setup. The indicative in nature of contribution of these is given as below:

Assessment & Evaluation

Role of Students Students experience the institutional norms, rules, guidelines related to discipline, punctuality, and regularity. They work hard to meet the benchmarks to maintain good attendance, results and to develop required presentation skills. Their role in IQAC committee is to provide their feedback to remove any deficiencies in the course curriculum, teaching - learning process.
Role of Alumni The Institute’s Alumni Cell works hard to maintain good communication between Alumni and faculty. In this process the institution gets the latest market feedback, technology trends, and job opportunities etc. The role of alumni is to update the IQAC with this information. They maintain goodwill of the Institute.
Role of Faculty Faculty ensures the feedback on quality teaching and learning processes, research work of the Institute, Quality initiatives under various in-house clubs, committees and cells. In the IQAC meetings, brain storming is done and an action plan for quality enrichment is undertaken.
Role of Stake Holders Stakeholder viz. Industry personnel, trainers, social workers, prominent academicians of society are the most valued members of IQAC Committee. They suggest improvements, opportunities and help the institute in creating strong public and corporate relations. These inputs are used to create a value based culture of higher educational management at the Institute.
Role of Management The AIMS – Management members of IQAC Committee play the role of check and balances in governance of the Institution. They work as decision makers to bring the vision/mission of the institution into reality. Their support in terms of infrastructure, manpower, financial support, leadership helps the IQAC in transforming the quality initiative into actual ground work realities.

Periodicity of the meeting of IQAC:

The IQAC committee meets on two times in an Academic year as follows:

1. First Meeting: July First Week
2. Second Meeting: August First Week
